Simon Chapman died in early 2017.
He is an anarchist, arrested and emprisoned at the 2003 G8 protests in Thessaloniki, with fake evidence.
To add to the absurdity and cruelty of his drama, even the actual moment of his framing (placing molotof bombs and hammers in his empty bag)
was documented by present photographers.
He went on a hunger strike and fucked his health.
You can search online his story, if you care.

Thessaloniki is my city and I was there too that day.
It could be me, or you or anyone; annoying enough.

This 49minute drone I made, is not a tribute nor a lamentation.
Not a farewell or a hagiography.
It does not conclude, or point.
It is not a triumphant anthem.
It is persistent, like a child, clenching it fists;
It is angry and dark but sustained.
It announces the coming, not with epic battle drums,
screams, slogans and ideologisms, but with peristence, consistency and eye to eye contact.
